Lineal descent from an ancestor; ancestry or extraction.
The line of descendants of a particular ancestor.

The great thoroughbred Affirmed descended from  Secretariat's lineage.

Profligate

Utterly and shamelessly immoral or dissipated; thoroughly dissolute.
Recklessly prodigal or extravagant.

It is beyond reason how someone identified as profligate was able to secure such a position of responsibility. 

Tertiary

Of the third order, rank, stage, formation.

George sits in the tertiary role within the hierarchy of the firm.
