Appreciable
Sufficient to be readily perceived or estimated; considerable

There seems to be an appreciable difference between what you were quoted and what you were billed. 

Jargon

Language, especially vocabulary, peculiar to a particular trade or profession.
Unintelligible or meaningless talk or writing.
Any talk or writing that one does not understand.

It is difficult to follow a conversation with Sam when he starts using his profession's jargon.

Rudimentary

Elementary.
Primitive

She has a rudimentary understanding of the material.
