Curative

Serving to cure or heal.
Remedial treatment.

The book speaks of the curative powers of a well-balanced diet coupled with a daily exercise routine.

Seizure

Taking possession of an item, property, or person legally or by force.
A sudden attack.

Fortunately, Tom did not experience a seizure this time. 

Concurrence

Accordance in opinion; agreement.
Cooperation, as of agents or causes.
Simultaneous occurrence; coincidence.

It was difficult to believe that both events happened in concurrence.
