The group led by Joseph was extremely hostile and bellicose egging on their opponent.

Friendship; peaceful harmony.
Mutual understanding and a peaceful relationship.

There was great amity between the two of them.

Arcane

Known or understood by very few.
Mysterious; secret; obscure.

Jack always referred to his club's membership as arcane and liked to keep everyone guessing what their purpose was.
